On July 14, 2024, the Planting Machinery Branch of China Agricultural Machinery Industry Association was officially established in Jiamusi, Heilongjiang Province, and Weima Agricultural Machinery became the vice president unit of the first council of the Planting Machinery Branch.

The Planting Machinery Branch is a branch of the China Agricultural Machinery Industry Association, voluntarily formed by enterprises, universities, and research institutes in various links of the planting machinery technology and equipment industry chain under the leadership of the China Agricultural Machinery Industry Association.
Ning Xuegui, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of China Agricultural Machinery Industry Association, Wang Zhenhua, Deputy General Manager of China Agricultural Mechanization Science Research Institute Group Co., Ltd., and Zhou Haiyan, Deputy Secretary General of China Agricultural Machinery Society, attended the meeting. Representatives from candidate units for Vice President of Planting Machinery Branch and member units also attended the founding ceremony.

As the vice president unit of the council, Weima Agricultural Machinery, in collaboration with the Planting Machinery Branch, collaborates with other member units to research industry standards, overcome technical difficulties, share achievement information, optimize industry resources reasonably, and strive to enhance Weima Agricultural Machinery's market competitiveness in planting machinery technology and equipment.
